6 Weeks from Launch to Lead Machine: How We Built a R1.9M Pipeline on a R85K Investment
This is the story of a real client engagement — completed in the last six weeks. No theory. No projections. Just the infrastructure we built, the strategy we ran, and the numbers that came out the other side.
A B2B supplier in the Gauteng region came to us with a static brochure website. No lead capture. No e-commerce. No instant quoting. No ad campaigns. No CRM. No analytics. Ten stale Google reviews with zero replies. They were invisible online and leaving money on the table every day.
Six weeks later, the picture looks like this:

Here's exactly how we did it.
The Challenge: A Business Running Blind
Our client had a product people wanted and a delivery radius that covered Johannesburg and Pretoria — a massive B2B market. But their digital presence was a static website that did nothing except exist. No way to capture a lead. No way to generate an instant quote. No way to sell online. No way to know who was visiting or where they came from.
They were running a modern business on infrastructure from 2010.
The Solution: Full Digital Infrastructure in Weeks
We deployed our proprietary business operations platform — a complete digital ecosystem purpose-built for B2B lead generation and sales. Not a WordPress theme. Not a page builder. A full-stack platform with every touchpoint engineered to convert.
What we built:
Platform Capabilities Deployed
E-commerce — 270+ products with variants and online checkout
Instant Quote Engine — multi-product quotes generated on-demand
AI-Powered Chatbot — lead capture and product queries, 24/7
CRM — automated lead routing and follow-up
Email Campaigns — template builder with re-engagement automation
Manager Dashboard — PWA for mobile oversight
Technical SEO — dynamic sitemap, structured data, Core Web Vitals
Conversion Tracking — full Google Ads tracking across every touchpoint

The Strategy: Hyper-Local, Precision-Targeted
We didn't spray-and-pray. Every rand of ad spend was engineered to reach the right person, in the right role, at the right company, in the right geography.
Geographic precision. Campaigns were locked to the Johannesburg and Pretoria metro areas — the client's delivery radius. No wasted impressions on users who could never convert.
Decision-maker targeting. We went after office managers, procurement officers, and facilities managers — the people who actually sign the purchase order.
Company size filtering. We targeted businesses with 10 to 500 employees — large enough to need bulk supply, small enough to convert fast without a six-month procurement cycle.
Multi-touchpoint conversion tracking. Every form submission, chatbot interaction, quote request, and checkout was tracked as a conversion event in Google Ads. No guessing what was working.
Email re-engagement. The client's past customer database was imported into the platform. Targeted email campaigns drove repeat business — and generated 10 new Google reviews with solid replies, doubling their count from 10 to 20.
The Results: Traffic
From the moment ads went live on September 3, traffic poured in — and it came from the right places.

56% of all traffic came from the target region — Johannesburg (1,700 users) and Pretoria (899 users). That's not accidental. That's strategy.
Paid search drove 36% of users. Cross-network (Performance Max) brought in 26%. Direct traffic — people typing the URL — was already at 15%, a sign the brand was building recognition in the market. Organic search was growing without a single rand of SEO-specific spend. And 89 users arrived via AI assistants — a channel that didn't exist two years ago.

That works out to a cost per lead of R22.32 and a conversion rate of 5.56%. The Performance Max campaign was the standout performer, generating R663K in conversion value in the last 7 days alone — a +99% week-on-week increase.

The Results: Pipeline
This is where it gets real. The platform didn't just generate clicks — it generated money.
27 quotes tracked through the platform, totalling R1,289,043 in pipeline value. These are real quotes sent to real businesses — with status tracking from sent through to accepted or declined.

Client dashboard — Quote pipeline by status
But that's only the tracked pipeline. An additional ~R600,000 in leads went directly to the client's booking system — enquiries that came through the website but were handled off-platform. Combined, the total pipeline sits at approximately R1.9 million.
On top of the lead pipeline, email re-engagement campaigns drove the client's Google reviews from 10 stale reviews with no replies to 20 reviews with solid replies — doubling their social proof in six weeks.
The Bottom Line: 22:1 ROI
Let's do the maths.
Platform investment R79,500 Google Ads spend R5,647 Total investment R85,147 Pipeline generated~ R1,900,000 Return on investment 22:1
For every R1 invested, the client generated R22 in qualified pipeline — in six weeks. Not six months. Six weeks. And the organic traffic, the Google reviews, the SEO foundation, and the email re-engagement system keep compounding without additional spend.

What Made This Work
This wasn't magic. It was method. Three things made the difference:
Infrastructure first. We didn't run ads to a static site. We built the entire conversion ecosystem — quote engine, chatbot, CRM, email campaigns, checkout — before spending a single rand on traffic. When the visitors arrived, every path led to a conversion event.
Precision over volume. Hyper-local geographic targeting, decision-maker job roles, and company size filtering meant the ad budget wasn't competing with the entire country. It was focused on the people most likely to buy, in the areas the client could serve.
Full-funnel tracking. Every touchpoint — every form, every chatbot conversation, every quote request, every checkout — was tracked as a conversion event in Google Ads. This gave the algorithm real signal to optimise against, and gave us real numbers to report. No guesswork.
